It’s the end of an era! Chewbacca has died! Harrison Ford, who played Han Solo in Star Wars, praised the “kind and gentle man” for his “great dignity and noble character.” I was lucky enough to have Chewbacca as a Twitter buddy, and I can personally endorse Peter Mayhew’s credentials as a kind, gentle and friendly giant of a man. In The Girl Who Fell series (by Raechel Sands) my own king of the gods (Dr Fox a.k.a. Zeus) is portrayed in this clip by our own friendly giant, Anton (7 foot 2, exactly the same height as Peter).
